Zhu Xian Novice Skill Guide

Since you will be a novice for some levels, I would recommend getting HIT skill at level 2/6 and ALERT skill at level 7/7. Remember to not waste much of you skill points as you will need them as you progress in the game. There is a maximum of 150 skill points in this game and we still do not know yet if we have this reset skill NPC or item (wish we could have like that). Level 15 is the level wherein you get to choose your school, so choose wisely. Here is a little description of the novice skills:

HIT skill - is an active skill wherein you deal 2x your damage to an enemy/monster.

ALERT skill - this passive skill raises the amount of resistance in all states.

There are also other skills such as:

Courage - this buff enhances your ability to attack

Healing - self explanatory. Also an active skill

As for the rest of the skills, well that will depend what school you're going to enter. I will update you guys on that. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Somewhere in the midst of tropical forests and gigantic dinosaurs, two Nobles were having a friendly chat.

“Montoro and Corts have brought enough chaos to the New World! We must put an end to this!” Fritz paced around as he spoke.

“That goes without saying. So what do you suggest?” Grandice interrupted before he could continue his rant.

With one hand stroking his beard, Fritz thought hard for a moment.

“I’ve got it! We’ll make those Pioneering families work for us!” Fritz jumped in excitement.

Puzzled by his sudden outburst, Grandice asked. “Uh… I don’t get it… so what are you going to make them do?”

“Well, we certainly don’t have the numbers to take on the deadly duo now so we will need to recruit more pioneering families!” Fritz answered slowly, hoping that Grandice would understand his point.

Fritz waited for her to nod in agreement before continuing. “And the best way is to get our current pioneers to recruit new blood for us!”

“And you think they’ll do it for free?” Grandice retorted.

Fritz shook his head and replied. “Reputation points, the new currency for the various events in the New World. I’m sure we can give them some.”
So what is this all about?

Introducing the new buddy system for all citizens of Granado Espada! There will be two families in every secret guard inauguration. One family will receive all the EXP gained and the other family will receive a reputation reward for every level gained by the first family.

Conditions for Secret Guard

1. There are two roles in the Secret Guard feature, the client and the guard.

2. You cannot be a client if your Family Level is 10 and above.

3. You require a minimum of Family Level 9 to provide the guard service.

4. The guard’s Family Level cannot be lower then the client’s Family Level.

5. You can only maintain one Secret Guard family at any time.

6. The family ending the contract will not be able to request for the Secret Guard for 24 hours.

Effects of the Secret Guard

1. The guard and the client are required to be in a squad.

2. All EXP gained by both families will be given to the client and the guard does not receive any.

3. The guard will receive reputation points when the client reaches certain amount of EXP.

4. The guard has to be in the vicinity of the client to receive the reputation points.

5. The guard will only receive reputation points from the point of initiation. If the guard offers the service when the client is Level 40, he will not receive the reputation point rewards from Level 1 to Level 40.

6. The reputation point reward will not be given again if the character level changes due to loss of EXP through Player-Kill.

7. The total amount of reputation points that can be achieved by the guard is 2688. This is based on the scenario of assisting in leveling for 3 characters in the same client family from Level 1 to Level 100.

CHAOS ARENA RAID with the GMs

Hello fellow CABALists!
This month of October, the GMs will be aiding courageous CABALists in raiding the CHAOS Arena Dungeons. Starting October 6, 2008, the GMs will randomly enter the Chaos Arena dungeons to help gamers gain the hidden loots of the Chaos Arena Map.

How to join:
Gamers must have Chaos Arena Entry Keys [Miracle Keys] in order to enter the Chaos Arena Map.
These keys are available in the CABAL Item Shop or by crafting them with the necessary ingredients.
Wait for the GM Announcement on which CHAOS Arena Level and which Premium Channel the GMs will be visiting.
The GMs will visit only 1 Server per Day and will randomly enter the Chaos Arena Map.

Please take note of the CHAOS Arena Schedules below:
12:00AM, 4:00AM, 8:00AM, 12:00PM, 4:00PM and 8:00PM everyday.
Exclusive to Channels 3-10 of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter Servers and Channels 4-9 of Neptune Server only.

The Level Progression Event will allow existing and new gamers to gain special enhancement items as they reach specific target level requirements!
The event will start after the scheduled Server Maintenance of October 7th and will end before the Scheduled Server Maintenance of November 4th.

How to Participate
1. Check your character level and target amount of level achievement before the event starts on October 7th.
2. Achieve the required level achievement target before the event ends.
Ex) My character is Level 100 before October 7th Scheduled Server Maintenance. I need to achieve Level 115 by November 4th in order to get the Reward- Core Enhancer High x4.
3. Wait for the Event Prize to be distributed by the end of the event period.

Event Rewards Matrix

Lv. 170 Achievement REWARD:
Core Enhancer(Highest) x5 and Astral Bike – Crystal RW3 (15 days, Account Binding)

Those who reach level 170 by the end of the event period will receive the following:
Core Enhancer(Highest) x5
Astral Bike – Crystal RW3 (15 days, Account Bind)

For Newly Registered Users:
Those new users who register after the start of the event [October 7th] and reaches Lv. 40 during the event period will receive Epaulet of Discipline (7days, Account Bind).

Online Activities Mechanics

GE Tournament Clash of the pioneers >> 3 versus 3

Mechanics

Server: Internal Test Server

1. All terms and conditions of IAHGames Passport apply. This tournament is open for the test server only.

2. Each team will consist of 3 players. Players are not allowed to join multiple teams. Players found to be in multiple teams will have their teams immediately disqualified.

3. Players from each team will be using the pre-made accounts set by the Game Facilitators. They can choose their own MCC team/set of characters from the said account.

4. Each team/player will be using only the consumables provided by the Game Facilitators.

5. Players are to meet at the City of Auch – PvP Officer 10 minutes before the tournament starts.

6. There will be an allotment of 10 minutes for preparation and 5 minutes for the match.

7. Once the 5-minute time is up, it’s hands-off-the-keyboard. Any player with hands on the keyboard will automatically be disqualified.

8. The team to successfully exterminate all 9 characters of the opposing team will be pronounced the winner for that match.

9. In case of a “draw,” both teams will be required to play a “sudden death match.” Players are not allowed to change their character setup. First team to score a character-kill will be the winner of the match.

10. Warnings will be given for team displaying unsportsmanship behavior or not abiding by the rules and/or listening to the GMs/marshals. There will be disqualifications on the team who will receive 3 warnings and/or exploitation of any bugs and intentional disconnections during the match.

11. Finals Match will be best of 3

12. In case of system failures or disconnections, inform the marshals as soon as possible. If any players are disconnected before any engagement is made, the match will be restarted. The marshal is also responsible and monitor the match at all times in cases like this one.

13. Tournament fee is 20Ep/GVC unscratched.

Pagpili ng Oye Girls

1. Ang Oye Girls ang syang naghahawak ng palayok na may lamang in-game items para sa Jackpot Round.
2. Papipiliin ang mga napiling Oye Girls ng kanilang hahawakang palayok.
3. Kung sino man sa kanila ang may hawak ng palayok na napili sa Jackpot Round ay magkakamit ng premyong makukuha ng Jackpot Player.

RAN Online is the first and most-played campus based MMORPG around the world. It has been played and followed by millions of loyal users in the Philippines, making it one of the most successful locally published online games of all time.

This year, after three years of service to the Filipino online gaming community, RAN Online PH Team is proud to announce the RAN PH Team´s participation in the RAN Global Tournament 2008.

The RAN Global Tournament is an annual event that allows RAN players from different countries to meet in a massive player versus player tournament. One of the purposes of this event is to gather and strengthen the RAN global community through various activities and side events.

After the successful RAN Global Tournament held in 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand, this year´s RGT is expected to surpass its previous achievements. From last year´s four participating countries, the list has expanded to eight countries namely Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, China, Vietnam and Japan.

This year, the host country is the Philippines, making it even more meaningful for all RANatics. The event will take place in October at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. On that day, let´s invoke the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship and join the whole world in cheering for the participants. Let us support the RAN PH Team as they fight for the global title. However, as we do so, let us also not forget the objective of the RAN Global Tournament−the unity of all RAN players across the world.

Let´s all make this event a meaningful, fun and unforgettable experience.

There are moments in “Hellboy 2: The Golden Army,” Guillermo del Toro’s profligate sequel to “Hellboy,” capable of delighting even the most jaded, comic-book-weary summer-blockbuster conscript. (That would be me.) Lately we have seen plenty of big, asphalt-smashing street battles between hero and nemesis — Tim Roth and Edward Norton, hopped up on military growth hormones, hurling cars across Harlem in “The Incredible Hulk”; Charlize Theron and Will Smith enacting some kind of meteorological superhero S & M in “Hancock” — but nothing quite like the scene in which Ron Perlman’s Hellboy, a baby in one hand and an oversize gun in the other, mixes it up with a giant, angry plant.

What makes that sequence memorable is not just the visual audacity of the stunts and effects, but also the weird animist vibe that the photosynthesizing fiend gives off. He might have sprung from the pastoral imagination of the Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki, if Mr. Miyazaki’s environmentalism inclined him toward anger rather than sorrow. And even after Hellboy carries out a necessary and brutal pruning, a moment of mourning is permitted. That raging vine, after all, was the last of an endangered species.

Which is not to say that “Hellboy 2” is exactly, or primarily, an ecological allegory, though it does have some twinklings of green consciousness amid all the red- and gold-hued mayhem. There is just too much else going on to single out any particular theme or mood, which is part of the movie’s charm and also, sometimes, a source of exasperation.

Mr. Perlman, painted bright red and outfitted with sawed-off horns and an extra-large fist, is happy to ignore the trappings of digital-era cinematic splendor and act like the cigar-chomping hero of an old black-and-white B picture. The script (and the comics by Mike Mignola that are the movies’ source) may identify the character as a demon exiled from the underworld, but as a movie archetype Hellboy is more like the gruff sergeant or the cynical gumshoe, with a soft heart, naturally, beating under the hard shell. In Mr. Perlman’s performance you catch glimpses of Bogey and Lee Marvin and hints of Robert Mitchum and George Kennedy, all blended with devilish glee and disarmingly sexy sincerity.

And the movie itself is similarly easygoing in its eclecticism. The story is a happy hodgepodge of bantering humor and portentous metaphysics, packing a remarkable range of moods and genre elements into a fairly compact 110 minutes. The love between Hellboy and the downcast, combustible Liz Sherman (Selma Blair) gives this film, like its precursor, an undercurrent of hard-boiled, noirish romanticism. There are also Tolkienish elves (as Mr. del Toro limbers up for “The Hobbit”), officious bureaucrats and a showstopping Barry Manilow song washed down with many cans of Tecate beer. The whole affair is pulpy, jokey, sometimes touching and frequently nonsensical: a big mess and, mostly, a lot of fun.

An ancient truce between the elves and the humans has been broken by an angry blond elf-prince (Luke Goss), who robs an auction house and whose twin sister (Anna Walton) bleeds maple syrup whenever he is injured. Back at the top-secret paranormal government lab where Hellboy grouchily works, his put-upon boss (the indispensable Jeffrey Tambor) welcomes a new authority figure, the punctilious Dr. Johann Kraus, a puff of gas with a creaky diving suit and a Prussian accent (voiced by Seth MacFarlane). Abe Sapien (Doug Jones), Hellboy’s begilled foil and sidekick, returns and this time finds some romance of his own.

But enough summarizing. Mr. del Toro has made delicate, finely modulated films in the past (“The Devil’s Backbone” and “Pan’s Labyrinth,” most notably). Here, though, with a big budget to play with and a pop-culture franchise to tend, he lets abundance trump coherence.

Like the ancient king who builds an army of nearly 5,000 enchanted mechanical warriors (the Golden Army of the film’s title), this director is a compulsive and prodigious maker of creatures, and for this movie he seems to have opened up his notebooks and let his imagination run free. Around every corner is a strange new beast or gizmo, from the tiny, swarming “tooth fairies” who devour a room full of art collectors to the slimy denizens of the troll market, one of whom has what looks like an infant attached to its chest. “I’m not a baby, I’m a tumor,” the appendage explains.

“Hellboy 2” is not a great movie — its narrative is at once too busy and too perfunctory — but like that sassy little tumor, it is lovable in its prodigious grotesquery. It was made with the kind of heedless, geeky enthusiasm that has been drained out of the standard, somber superhero melodramas that crowd the multiplexes these days. It’s an artful, clever throwaway that may, over time, turn into a valuable collectible.

“Hellboy 2” is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). It has some scary monsters, grown-up problems and salty lingo.

I just gave out New York Times' review about the movie "HellBoy II". Well, for me, the movie gave its best on special effects. Plus, they also added humor to the film. When I watched HellBoy I, I did not even laugh in any of the scenes. In HellBoy II, there was a point that they were singing a Barry Manilow song. That really made me laugh. You will find out why it was funny when you watch the movie. Its already released here in the Philippines. Go watch it with your friends or family. You will definitely enjoy it. ROCK OUT LOUD.

-Added BOT Checker Image Authentication feature. The system will automatically request for IMAGE Authentication on a regular basis to eliminate Bots.
-Removed Monsters in the Trade Channels. Gamers can only use the Trade Channels for VENDING. Dungeons are deactivated in the Trade Channels.
-Quick Slot registered skills can be used for the Auto-Attack function.

Two nations divide Nevareth!

The two Nations- Capella and Procyon Federations urge to gain more power than the other,. As the seemingly never-ending war continues, a report from the officer of Bloody Ice in Midreth arrives.

A written report based on the research of an unknown adventurer’s journal brought yet another shock to an already war-devastated Nevareth.
The adventurer, who seems to be the owner of the journal, suddenly appeared and died one day in the land of Bloody Ice followed after shouting- “Those who dare to oppose the Evil must be stopped!”

The unknown adventurer was found to be a well-known treasure hunter. While he was exploring with his fellow investigators, they found a ruin similar to the architecture before the era of the Honorable Ages. They formed groups to further uncover the mysteries of that place.
The mysterious architecture was regarded as an “Arena”, type of battle ground.

Found in the arena were a large swarm of evil monsters.
Defending themselves from hard pouring attacks, they now face the astonishing spectacles.
Beneath the blood-stained sky, the ultimate evil monster that appeared before them was one that they were not aware of. The power of these monsters was so fearful- it was immeasurable by any human being.

The Arena that they saw was the place that was built by the clan who called themselves “The Clan of Perfect Protectors”. The Clan of Perfect Protectors, who disappeared 20 years ago, was the ones who stole most of “The Perfect Cores” which initiated the birth of high-end core technology during the era of the Honorable Age.

The place unshaken even by the challenges of the bravest protectors is now regarded a battle ground known as the “Chaos Arena”!

Chaos Arena opens its gates after this Tuesday’s Scheduled Server Maintenance.

Mechanics:

® In order to participate in the Scheduled Opening of Chaos Arena, gamers must proceed to the entrance of Chaos Arena located in Bloody Ice (Coordinates: X:10, Y:28).

® Maximum number of players to enter Chaos Arena : 21 players per Level.
® There are 5 different levels for Chaos Arena and each channel opens all 5 different levels of Chaos Arena. Total Participants: 105 Players
® Each level of Chaos Arena allows players to enter the map according to their level.
® Entrance requirement: Players must have the required entrance item – Miracle Key/s
® Players can craft Miracle keys with ingredients found inside the game or they may purchase Keys from the CABAL Cash Shop.

Chaos Arena Rules:

i. Play time in Chaos Arena: total 25 minutes

(It is not possible to enter Chaos Arena after 5 minutes of its opening)

ii. Monsters will appear as soon as the gate of Chaos Arena is destroyed.

iii. As time goes by, high level monsters will appear in Chaos Arena

iv. Boss monster will appear later than lower level monsters.

v. Items drop from monsters – Cores (All types of Cores will drop from monsters including the Highest Type of Upgrade Cores)

vi. Boss monsters will drop different types of items

vii. If players kill the Boss monster, they complete Chaos Arena.

viii. When players are killed inside the Chaos Arena:

- They can resurrect once in Chaos Arena if players have an Odd Circle.

- If players do not have an Odd Circle or already used an Odd Circle once, they will move/re-spawn to Bloody Ice as they failed Chaos Arena.

Celestial God Quest

To become a Celestial God, you must first complete the 'Secret of Runes' quest. Mortal characters must be at level 400, with God characters at least level 356 and above.

Secret of Rune Quest

After defeating the Kephra boss, a portal will appear in his lair. The portal will enable you to enter the Unknown Continent, wherein several NPCs are located. The tax to enter this domain is the same as that of Noatun's.

The 'Quest Zone' consists of 7 areas. You can only activate the quest if you are in a party with at least 4 members.

After forming a party, the Party Leader must click on the NPC Uxmal during a given time.
The "Clue of Runes" must also be in the Party Leader's inventory, in which you will be placed on a waiting mode.
(Possible number of groups: 21 parties)
> The Clue of Runes can be obtained after bringing 7 pieces of Fate of Dragon God to NPC Odin.

Once the waiting time is finished, the next party will be randomly moved to one of the 7 zones. The group has to finish the quest within 15 minutes, with a 5 minute break.

Each quest has different requirements, and if the party meets all the required conditions, 1 Rune will automatically be given to each party member.

Conquest of Test

The quest is composed of 7 tests. Each quest has different methods and prerequisites. Below is a brief introduction of each quest.

Secret Key Runes

The Runes are composed of 24 classes. If you succeed in combining them through the NPC Alchemist Odin in the Unknown Continent, you can make the Secret Stone.
There are four kinds of Secret Stones. They are used in making the Ideal Stone for Celestial God.
Success rate will depend on Runeword's combination, which is undecipherable to this date.

* After collecting the 4 kinds of Secret Stones, click on the King of your Kingdom while wearing Sephirote (any kind) and Immortality Stone, and the Ideal Stone will appear in your inventory.

* Use the Ideal Stone to change a God into a Celestial God. However, your mortal character must be at level 400 and your God character must be at least level 356.

When you use the "Ideal Stone", your Celestial God’s basic ability will depend on your God character’s level. The higher the level of your God character, the stronger it will be.

The Celestial Circlet (finest helmet) will be given according to the level of the Celestial God.

Note:

* You can't change back to God status after becoming a Celestial God.
* If you get disconnected after entering the 7 test's quest zone, you will start again in town and if you die during the '7 test', you'll be re-spawned in the quest zone.
* For each quest, a total of 3 parties will be able to participate in the '7 test' quest zone. However, only the party who dealt the last damage and defeated the monster will be able to get the reward.

Celestial God's name and class will be based on your God character. You can get the new Sephira skill for Celestial God: 'Soul of Limits' and 'Master of Cape'.
* You can use the "Soul of Limits" skill after learning the 8th skill. It increases your class ability.

Celestial God can wear God Character armors.

A Celestial God has the advantage of wearing different kinds of armor without level restriction.
A Celestial God has the advantage of wearing any kind of weapons regardless of the required class except for those of grade E weapons.

Reward Items upon Celestial God Transition

Upgrading the Master of Cape does not need Sky Fate and God Fate alone. In order to upgrade the cape, you will need God Fates and other ingredients.

You may refine your Master of Cape through the NPC Odin in Unknown Continent. 2 Mystery Seals, 1 Magic Seal and 4 God Fates are needed to refine the Master of Cape. Refining has 100% success rate.

An introduction to the name "Ryujin"

Ryūjin or Ryōjin "dragon god", also known as Ōwatatsumi, was the tutelary deity of the sea in Japanese mythology. This Japanese dragon symbolized the power of the ocean, had a large mouth, and was able to transform into a human shape. Ryūjin lived in Ryūgū-jō, his palace under the sea built out of red and white coral, from where he controlled the tides with magical tide jewels. Sea turtles, fish and jellyfish are often depicted as Ryūjin's servants.

Ryūjin was the father of the beautiful goddess Otohime who married the hunter prince Hoori. The first Emperor of Japan, Emperor Jimmu, is said to have been a grandson of Otohime and Hoori's. Thus, Ryūjin is one of the ancestors of the Japanese imperial dynasty.

According to legend, the Empress Jingū was able to carry out her attack into Korea with the help of Ryūjin's tide jewels. Upon confronting the Korean navy, Jingū threw the low tide jewel into the sea, and the tide receded. The Korean fleet was stranded, and the men got out of their ships. Jingū then threw down the high tide jewel and the water rose, drowning the Korean soldiers. An annual festival, called Gion Matsuri, at the Yasaka Shrine celebrates this legend.

Another legend involving Ryūjin is the story about how the jellyfish lost its bones. According to this story, Ryūjin wanted to eat monkey's liver (in some versions of the story, to heal an incurable rash), and sent the jellyfish to get him a monkey. The monkey managed to sneak away from the jellyfish by telling him that he had put his liver in a jar in the forest and offered to go and get it. As the jellyfish came back and told Ryūjin what had happened, Ryūjin became so angry that he beat the jellyfish until its bones were crushed.

Ryūjin shinkō "dragon god faith" is a form of Shinto religious belief that worships dragons as water kami. It is connected with agricultural rituals, rain prayers, and the success of fisherman.
